Nokia to become SMART: the Cellphone Manufacturer gearing up to Embrace Android Technology

Nokia is ready to come back after its epic fall, but wait; can you guess who is behind the engine? Of course, it’s not Microsoft, but a Finnish mobile maker, HMD Global Oy.

The HMD Global who got the Nokia branding rights from Microsoft in the late 2016 and is now set to launch the first-ever Android-powered Smartphone under the same. So, we can see there will be one more brand joining the Android race. But, the world had to wait a little more time, as this new product was getting its initial launch in China in early 2017.

This was a much-needed transition for this famous brand after it lost its battle to Android technology. The 14-year lead it had stopped influencing its popularity against the whole Android business.

Manufactured by Foxconn, this new gadget, Nokia 6 operates on Android 7.0 Nougat, which promises with better-refined features. With 5.5 inch full-HD display and a 2.5D Gorilla glass top, this device radiates a smooth, elegant look.

Powered by 3000 mAh battery and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, Nokia 6 is packed with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage, which is expandable to 128GB through a microSD.

Getting a vivid and detailed photo of yours is easy now because you have a 16-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera in your hand. The fan base is definitely going to enjoy this new guise of Nokia as it models dual speakers and Dolby Atmos audio.

Why China?
